Student Support Services
Global BW College provides student support services designed to meet the needs of our students and support a positive learning experience. Students are briefed on key academic and administrative information, as well as their rights and responsibilities under relevant policies and procedures.
Orientation Programme (Newly-Enrolled Students)
All newly-enrolled students will attend an orientation programme. During orientation, the College will explain key information including:
- Important course information and key requirements
- Student rights relating to grievance and dispute resolution procedures, including fee protection matters
- Criteria and procedures for course deferment or extension
- Conditions relating to suspension and expulsion
- Requirements and information relating to the awarding of certificates
Key Policies and Procedures
Students will be informed of the following key policies and procedures, where applicable:
- Refund policy and procedure
- Transfer, withdrawal policy and procedure
- Medical insurance scheme requirement
- Deferment policy and procedure
- Grievance policy and handling procedure
- Exam appeal policy and procedure
Facilities and Student Support
Global BW College may provide facilities and programmes to enrich students’ educational experience, including:
- Wireless internet connection
- Academic assistance to students (e.g., language programmes)
Student Advisory Note and Standard Student Contract
Students must read and understand the Student Advisory Note (FORM 12) before signing the Standard Student Contract. Students will also be briefed on the Standard PEI-Student Contract requirements.
Personal Data Protection Policy (PDPA)
Global BW College complies with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Personal data refers to data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data and other information to which the organisation has or is likely to have access. Personal data in Singapore is protected under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
